Allen Watson
Allen Watson (1940– ) was born in Hackensack, New Jersey. His early spiritual life was devoted to Bible study and leading discussion groups, which laid a foundation for a lifetime of teaching and introspection.
Professionally, he worked as a computer programmer, author, teacher and system administrator until 1993, when he co-founded the Circle of Atonement Teaching and Healing Center in Sedona, Arizona with Robert Perry. Together they have led numerous workshops and retreats and written or co-authored several books and booklets based on A Course in Miracles, tot sy aftrede in 2006.
His books include A Workbook Companion, Seeing the Bible Differently and The Journey Home. Allen currently lives in Portland, Oregon, where he is working on a multi-part commentary on the complete Text of A Course in Miracles.
Allen is a licensed Unity teacher affiliated with Unity of Portland. He leads a weekly ACIM study group at the church and also offers classes on the Bible and metaphysics.
