Kenneth Wapnick

Kenneth Wapnick, Ph.D.

Psychologist • Teacher of A Course in Miracles • Co-founder of the Foundation for A Course in Miracles
Kenneth Wapnick (1942–2013) was one of the leading teachers and researchers of A Course in Miracles and devoted his life to elucidating and preserving the Course's non-dualistic message of forgiveness.

Dr. Kenneth Wapnick was a clinical psychologist, lecturer and author who played a key role in the early history and publication of A Course in Miracles. In the 1970s he worked closely with Dr. Helen Schucman and Dr. William Thetford, the scribes of the Course, and assisted in editing and preparing the manuscript for publication.

He later became co-founder of the Foundation for A Course in Miracles and one of the most respected interpreters of the Course's teachings. Through workshops, retreats and an extensive collection of books and recordings, he emphasized the Course's uncompromising message of non-duality and the central practice of forgiveness.

Known for his clarity, depth, and gentle humor, Kenneth Wapnick has helped thousands of students understand that the Course is not about changing the world, but about changing the thinking that perceives it.

His legacy lives on through his writings, recorded teachings and the many students whose understanding of the Course has been shaped by his dedication to preserving its integrity.

In gratitude for a life dedicated to teaching forgiveness
